Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a new salary system for civil servants, based on qualification levels and grades. Since the beginning of the year, 70% of the salaries of civil servants are salaries, and the remaining 30% are bonuses.
We will remind that from January 1, 2024, the government reduced the number of civil service vacancies by almost 20,000. According to the estimates of the Ministry of Finance, these changes will save about UAH 8 billion of budget funds, which will be directed to the needs of defense and security.
