The situation in the Kharkiv direction remains difficult, but under the control of the Armed Forces
Russian troops continue to attack in the Kharkiv direction, concentrating their efforts on Liptsy and Vovchansk.
Fighting continues in the areas of the front:
- Hlyboke – Liptsi
- Lukyantsi – Slobozhanske
- Pilna – Slobozhanske
- Murom – Staritsa
- Pletenivka – Vovchansk
“Ukrainian units managed to maintain their positions. Our troops continue to conduct defense and stabilization measures in Vovchansk, keeping the situation under control“, – emphasized in General Staff
According to the GSU, during the day Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks in the following directions:
- Pilna – Liptsi
- Lukyantsi – Slobozhanske
- Pilna – Slobozhanske
- Murom – Staritsa
The American think tank “Institute for the Study of War” (ISW) reports that Russian troops managed to advance east of Hlybokoy (north of Liptsi). In the Vovchansk region, the Russians managed to reach the northern outskirts of the village of Staritsa (west of Vovchansk).
ISW analysts estimate the maximum advance of the Russians from the border in the Kharkiv region at 8 kilometers, noting that the rate of advance of the invaders has slowed down significantly.
