The Cabinet of Ministers allowed the establishment of additional payments for employees of the State Penitentiary Service during martial law

The Cabinet of Ministers allowed the establishment of monthly additional payments to the employees of the State Criminal Enforcement Service of Ukraine (SCS) for the period of martial law. About this reported representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

“Amendments have been made to Resolution No. 168 of the CMU dated February 28, 2022 “Issue of certain payments to military personnel and members of the rank and file, police officers and their families during the period of martial law”, which regulate the issue of establishing an additional monthly remuneration for members of the rank and file of the State Criminal Enforcement Service of Ukraine during the period of martial law. – explained Melnychuk.

Resolution No. 168 gives ministries and state agencies the right to implement additional payments not only for participation in hostilities, but also taking into account the conditions of service during martial law.

Previously, such an opportunity was provided for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the SBU, the Foreign Intelligence Service, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, the National Guard, the State Border Service, the State Security Department, the State Special Communications and the State Special Transport. From now on, employees of the penitentiary system will be added to this list.
