Police detained young men who were blocking a street in Kyiv and listening to Russian music

In Kyiv, six young people were detained, who blocked a street in the city center to dance to Russian music. Juvenile police are currently working with the detainees, informs Kyiv National Police.

One of the participants had previously appeared in similar incidents involving the use of Russian music. The court previously sentenced him to probation for one year.

“After the completion of the verification of the actions of each of the six figures, a legal assessment will be given,” – the police say.

The incident became known after the distribution of a video showing young people blocking a street in Kyiv. The recording also shows one of them walking through the city, singing along to the song by the Russian propagandist singer SHAMAN with the words “I am Russian”. The video was actively published on Instagram, but currently the pages on which it was posted are closed.

The authors of the video also showed the correspondence of one of the boys, who, apparently commenting on the video with the road closure, wrote to an unknown interlocutor: “Would you know whose children these are.”
