The case of AMCU Chairman Kyrylenko on illegal enrichment was sent to court

National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine reported on referring to the court the case of the current head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, Pavlo Kyrylenka, who is accused of illegal enrichment and entering unreliable data into declarations.
According to the investigation, in the period from 2020 to 2023, when the official held the position of head of the regional state administration, he purchased 21 real estate objects and a BMW X3 premium car. The specified property was issued to his wife’s relatives.
Among the acquisitions are seven apartments in Kyiv and Uzhgorod with a total area of 688.5 square meters. m, residential building with an area of more than 220 square meters. m near Kyiv, two plots of land, two garage boxes, six parking spaces, three non-residential premises with a total area of over 190 square meters. m and the specified car.
According to the investigation’s calculations, the amount by which the purchased property exceeds the official income and savings of the official himself and his wife is 72.1 million hryvnias. In addition, during the same period, the accused repeatedly entered inaccurate data in the declarations as a person authorized to perform the functions of the state. The investigation was initiated by NABU detectives and SAP prosecutors after the publication of a journalistic investigation by Radio Liberty.
We will remind, in August last year, the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, and the former head of the Donetsk regional state administration, Pavlo Kyrylenka, was charged with illegal enrichment in the amount of over 56 million hryvnias and declaration of false information. The higher anti-corruption court chose a preventive measure for the official in the form of bail in the amount of 30.280 million hryvnias. The specified amount was deposited the very next day.
In June 2025, the detective of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, in agreement with the prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, informed Kyrylenka of another suspicion – this time of undeclared property, and of aiding his close person in the illegal enrichment of more than 72 million hryvnias.
On June 6, the High Anti-Corruption Court also chose a preventive measure for the suspect of aiding and abetting — bail in the amount of 9 million hryvnias.
