Russia continues to fight and has already launched a summer offensive, despite its peaceful rhetoric. About it during the telethon stated Pavlo Shamshin, spokesman for Kharkiv OTU.
“We see: the Russians are accumulating forces, and the summer offensive campaign has actually already begun”, – noted Shamshin.
In response to the question whether there are noticeable changes in the actions of the enemy in connection with the discussion of the 30-day truce, the events in Istanbul and the negotiations, Shamshin noted:
“I would not delve into what is being said on the other side. When we are dealing with the Russians, we must understand a few things: Russians always lie in public. If they are not lying, then they are manipulating. If they are not manipulating, then they are going to lie. We should perceive all their statements as such.”
He emphasized that talks about Russia’s possible participation in the negotiations are an obvious imitation.
“Everyone saw the delegation that they sent to Istanbul – these are “nonames”. You shouldn’t take it seriously,” – added the spokesperson of Kharkiv OTU.
Shamshin also stated that peace should not be counted on in the near future.
“When the Russians announced their “Easter truce” or “Victory Days” there was no lull. On the contrary, the assaults intensified. We can see it even now. Therefore, we should have no illusions about peace.” – he emphasized.
