The court extended the house arrest of Mykola Tyshchenko until December 23

On November 15, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv extended the 24-hour house arrest of People’s Deputy Mykola Tyshchenko, who is suspected of illegally depriving a serviceman of his liberty in Dnipro. According to the court’s decision, Tyshchenko will be under house arrest until December 23, it is reported Public.

During the meeting, prosecutor Ivan Stolyar made a request to extend the preventive measure in the form of round-the-clock arrest, while Tyshchenko’s lawyers asked to soften it to night arrest or personal obligations, which would allow the deputy to fulfill his duties.

The defenders emphasized the need to take into account Tyshchenko’s work obligations as a deputy, including the operation of the reception room and ensuring the work of the people’s deputy’s apparatus.

His duty to the voters is constitutional, so a personal commitment is sufficient“, the lawyer explained.

Tyshchenko himself stated that he would agree to any decision of the court, while rejecting all accusations.

The case regarding the choice of preventive measure was not considered earlier due to several requests of Tyshchenko’s lawyers. It will be recalled that on June 25, the Pechersk court chose a preventive measure for him in the form of 24-hour house arrest after the SBI handed over the suspicion. In September, the court extended it by two months, including the obligation to wear an electronic bracelet, until November 16, 2024.
