The draft law on the extension of the period for passing the second military medical examination was registered in the parliament

The Verkhovna Rada registered a draft law, which provides for the extension of the period of passing a repeated military medical commission for men aged 25 to 60 who previously received the status of “limited fitness” for military service. About this reported Oleksandr Fedienko, head of the subcommittee on cyberspace security, government communications and cryptographic information protection.

The document proposes to extend the period of passing a repeated medical examination until June 5, 2025. According to Fedienko, its adoption is necessary due to the significant burden on the TCC, as many conscripts have to confirm their status.

According to the project, citizens who are subject to re-examination must independently contact the territorial recruitment center or use the electronic cabinet of a conscript, conscript or reservist to receive a referral to the VLK.

Fedienko noted that the draft law is small in scope and has already been agreed, so he expressed hope that the parliament will support it immediately in the first reading and in general.

We would like to remind you that according to the current legislation, “limited fit” conscripts must undergo a repeat VLK by February 5. In case of violation of this term, they face a fine.
