The first three registers have been restored after the cyberattack: Ministry of Justice

The Ministry of Justice has announced the reactivation of three key notary registries that were temporarily unavailable due to a cyber attack. About this reported press service of the ministry.
“After a large-scale cyberattack by the Russians, the Unified Register of Powers of Attorney, the Inheritance Register, and the Unified Register of Special Forms of Notarial Documents became operational. From now on, notaries can fully register powers of attorney, wills, and inheritance cases, as well as check special forms. All notarial actions that were taken during the absence of access to the registers will be implemented within 5 working days. Enhanced cyber protection measures have been implemented.” – says the message.
The ministry also emphasized that enhanced cyber security measures have been implemented following the attack. Work on the restoration of other registers continues in cooperation with the cyber department of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Cyber Police and the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.
We will remind that on December 19, a large-scale failure in the work of state registers was recorded due to a cyber attack by the Russian Federation. Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanishyna then announced that the consequences of the attack were being studied, but no personal data had been leaked. The Ministry of Justice noted that it may take about two weeks to completely restore state registers.
