The first Ukrainian educational hub in the USA opened in Chicago, which has been operating in a remote format since the summer of 2024. About this reported press service of the Association of Innovative and Digital Education.
The goal of the initiators of the project is to ensure permanent connection of Ukrainians in the USA with the Motherland. Chicago was chosen because of its large Ukrainian community, second only to New York.
“Education with the Ukrainian studies component and the possibility to recalculate grades from educational institutions abroad allow children to keep in touch with Ukrainian culture and language, as well as to study in Ukrainian schools without a double workload. An important aspect is cooperation with public organizations that support Ukrainian identity abroad “Nadiya Kuzmychova, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, said.
The project to create a network of Ukrainian educational hubs was implemented by the Association of Innovative and Digital Education in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The National Association of Higher Education (NASH), which covers more than 70% of American universities, acted as a hub partner in the USA.
Training materials and content are created by certified trainers, and participants will have the opportunity to use 34 educational platforms.
