The General Staff confirmed the strike of Main Intelligence Directorate drones on the refinery in Ryazan
On February 24, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed, that the drones of the Main Directorate of Intelligence struck the Ryazan Oil Refinery in Russia.
“Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of Intelligence, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, on the night of February 24, 2025, inflicted damage on the Ryazan oil refinery in the Ryazan region, which is involved in the provision of the occupation army of the Russian Federation.” – says the statement of the General Staff.
According to the Ukrainian military, five explosions rang out in the vicinity of the plant, and a fire broke out at the primary oil processing unit of ELO AT-6. The results of the attack are currently being verified.
The General Staff also reminded that on January 23, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces attacked an oil depot in the Tula region of the Russian Federation, causing a fire in the area of the FDKU of the “8 March” plant.
