The forces of unmanned systems demonstrated the capabilities of the Ukrainian Trizub laser complex, which is capable of destroying ballistic missiles at a distance of up to 3 kilometers, and planes and helicopters at a distance of up to 5 kilometers. The complex also effectively hits enemy air strike bombs, cruise and ballistic missiles in a radius of up to 3 km. At the same time, at a distance of up to 5 km, it can destroy helicopters, planes and reconnaissance drones. In addition, “Trident” is capable of blinding drones, cruise missiles, helicopters and airplanes at a distance of up to 10 km.
“We can state that today Ukraine is, if I’m not mistaken, the fifth country that can say it has a laser. Today we can shoot down planes with this laser at an altitude of more than 2 km“, – emphasized Sukharevskyi.
We will remind that on April 2, the Forces of Unmanned Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced recruitment for the female unit of unmanned systems called “Harpies”. Female candidates are offered professional training and access to a variety of equipment, including FPV drones, heavy bombers, wing attack UAVs, and ground robotic systems. In addition, financial support and social guarantees are provided in accordance with current legislation.
