The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of the Prymorsko-Akhtarsky airfield
On the night of February 6, in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation, an attack was made on the Primorsko-Akhtarsky military airfield, which led to explosions and a fire at the facility. The strikes were carried out by units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. Representatives of the military department noted that the Russian airfield “Primorsko-Akhtarsky” is used as an operational base for aircraft:
“It is used for storage, preparation and launches of UAVs of the “Shahed” type on the territory of Ukraine, as well as maintenance of aircraft that perform tasks in the regions of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions”.
Hits and explosions near the target, as well as a fire, were confirmed. The military noted that the results of the damage are being clarified. The General Staff stressed that strikes on facilities involved in the provision of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and terror of the civilian population will continue.
