The mayor of Konotop accused the head of the RMA of illogical decisions to cancel the reservation of utility workers

Mayor of Konotop Artem Semenikhin expressed indignation at the decisions of the head of OVA Volodymyr Artyukh, in particular due to the cancellation of reservations for utility workers and the attraction of equipment for the construction of fortifications from other regions. According to Semenikhin, Artyukh brought excavators from Vinnytsia, despite the fact that local equipment could have performed these works.

“Mr. Artyukh, by his decision, canceled the reservation of utility company employees, and even more, he instructed the SBU to allocate one person to each employee of the TCC in order to control that all employees of critical industry utility companies are called up to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for tomorrow and Friday.”, – claims Semenikhin.

The mayor emphasized that the employees of the territorial procurement center claimed that they could not influence the situation due to instructions from above. He also questions who will carry out the repair work in the city, as the cancellations and lack of funding have forced workers to be laid off.

Among other decisions, Artyukha Semenikhin mentioned the construction of fortifications, where local companies were not involved, and equipment from Vinnytsia brought considerable profit to local companies. Meanwhile, local machinery remains idle, and workers remain unpaid.

Semenikhin called for the immediate removal of Artyukh from his post and demanded from the law enforcement officers to open criminal proceedings under the article “Subversion” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine
