The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the Defense Forces fully comply with the terms of the “energy truce”

The Defense Forces of Ukraine strictly adhere to the terms of the energy ceasefire and do not carry out strikes on energy infrastructure – both on the territory of Russia and on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. About this it is said in the statement of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, published on April 3.

“We emphasize that the Defense Forces of Ukraine strictly adhere to the agreements reached with partners and did not attack energy facilities both on the territory of the Russian Federation and within the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine. Fire damage is carried out exclusively for the military purposes of the Russian army of occupation.” – noted in the General Staff.

The department emphasizes that Russian information sources are spreading fake information about alleged attacks by Ukraine on energy facilities of the Russian Federation and on the occupied territories:

“In particular, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has prepared yet another pseudo-summary about contrived attacks on a number of Russian oil, gas and electric companies. The diplomatic service of the aggressor country traditionally spreads false and groundless accusations in order to shift its own guilt for the disruption of the peace settlement to Ukraine and to continue the war of aggression against our state.”

At the same time, it is emphasized that it is the Russian troops that violate the terms of the agreements:

“At the same time, numerous violations of these agreements by the Russian army are recorded. For example, in the last decade of March, the aggressor repeatedly attacked our energy facilities in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions.”
