The government has additionally allocated UAH 10.2 billion for community reconstruction projects

On March 7, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to allocate an additional 5 billion hryvnias for 150 reconstruction projects in 12 regions, as well as 5.2 billion hryvnias for an experimental project of complex reconstruction of five settlements. About this reported Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

“Today, we have a number of decisions on the agenda that will speed up the reconstruction of our communities. We are allocating an additional 5 billion hryvnias for reconstruction projects in 12 regions. We are talking about 150 projects within the framework of a joint program with the European Investment Bank.”, Shmyhal said during the government meeting.

He noted that these funds will be used to repair and build hospitals, schools, kindergartens, restore water supply and improve energy efficiency.

“Also, today the government is allocating 5.2 billion hryvnias for an experimental project of complex restoration of five settlements: Borodyanka in Kyiv region. Trostyanets in Sumy region. Tsirkuny in Kharkiv region. Posad-Pokrovske in Kherson region and Yagidne in Chernihiv region.” – added the prime minister.

According to him, these funds will be used for major repairs and construction of new housing in the mentioned communities, restoration and modernization of heat, gas and water supply, as well as for the reconstruction of transport and social infrastructure.
