The government has allocated UAH 64.8 million for water supply to Nikopol, Marhanets and Pokrov

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to allocate UAH 64.8 million from the reserve fund of the state budget for the Dnipro Regional Military Administration. These funds will be used to support water supply and drainage enterprises under martial law. About this reported press service of the Ministry of Economy.
This decision became necessary due to serious water supply problems caused by the destruction of Kakhovskaya HPP by Russian troops.
Substantial resources have already been directed to overcome the consequences of this crisis, but the utilities that provide water supply to the residents of Marhanets, Nikopol and Pokrov need additional support. Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kindrativ noted that the allocated funds will be aimed at stabilizing the work of these enterprises.
Funds will be distributed among several utility companies. “Production Department of Water Supply and Sewerage of Marganets City Council” will receive UAH 27.16 million, “Pokrov Production Department of Water Supply and Sewerage” — 26.55 million UAH, and “Nikopol Production Department of Water Supply and Sewerage of Nikopol City Council” — 11, UAH 29 million.
Financial aid is allocated on the condition of return after the end of martial law.
