On January 10, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision that simplifies the procedure for granting the status of enterprises of critical importance to the economy to operators of gas distribution systems. These changes are aimed at ensuring the stable operation of gas supply in emergency situations, informs press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Henceforth, the requirement of a monthly salary of more than 2.5 minimum wages for booking workers is no longer mandatory. Operators are also given the opportunity to choose a criterion for the average salary of employees, which must not be lower than the average in the region for the IV quarter of 2021.
“This decision will allow enterprises to obtain the necessary status faster and ensure their efficient work for stable gas supply in emergency situations”, — noted Deputy Minister of Economy Vitaliy Kindrativ.
We will remind that on December 19, 2024, a cyber attack on the registers of the Ministry of Justice temporarily suspended the operation of services, which forced the government to extend the current reservations of conscripts for one month automatically.
In order to further ensure the continuous reservation of employees, critical enterprises must meet the new criteria and make a reservation through the “Diya” portal by February 28.
