The Government of Ukraine has simplified the rules for the production and procurement of ammunition for the Defense Forces
The Cabinet of Ministers adopted Resolution No. 902, which simplified and streamlined a number of issues related to the production, procurement and supply of explosives and ammunition for the Defense Forces. About this reported press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The resolution approves the Procedure for the production, procurement and supply of explosives and ammunition and defines clear algorithms and mechanisms for their implementation. The Ministry of Defense noted that enterprises that have already received the status of producers of ammunition or explosives within the framework of the implementation of the experimental project will continue their work without obstacles. This avoids stoppages in already established production cycles.
In addition, all current certificates for the storage of military explosive materials remain valid, so manufacturers will not have to go through bureaucratic procedures again to confirm their status.
The department emphasized that from now on, all explosive materials of industrial use, which are used to manufacture ammunition for the Defense Forces, are classified as explosive materials of military use. This greatly simplifies their circulation and use in the defense sector.
In addition, the government abolished a number of administrative restrictions on manufacturers. Thus, enterprises with the appropriate technologies and competences will be able to quickly deploy the production of ammunition, explosives and other means of destruction.
