According to the report of Colonel Oleksandr Zaichenko, the head of logistics of one of the units of the 59th brigade, the supplier “Your Bread” does not fulfill its obligations to provide the military unit with food products.
He told about this in a comment LIGA.net.
According to the colonel, “Your bread” supplies only 45% of the necessary products. This leads to the fact that the soldiers lack vegetables, fruits, milk, sausages, yogurt and other foodstuffs.
The problem is not limited to the 59th brigade. According to Zaichenko, a similar situation is observed in other units.
“800 people are in the place of permanent deployment (MPD). For the third week, we are looking for food products in the entire Vinnytsia region. And the soldiers were used to seeing vegetables, fruits, milk, sausages, and yogurt on the table. And now they don’t see anything. Zhumadilov promises that the situation will be corrected. At this time, for my military unit, the “Your Bread” company supplies only bread. That is, the situation has not changed. If we hadn’t “caroled”, hadn’t asked, people hadn’t brought vegetables, we wouldn’t have cooked borscht and soup”, – notes the colonel.
He added that the MPD has fighters recovering from injuries, as well as people guarding a military unit.
In March, “Your Bread” received from the Ministry of Defense a contract worth UAH 1.35 billion for the supply of products to five sectors. The owner of the company is Mykola Iskra, who since 2020 has been managing the headquarters of the Servant of the People party in the Korosten district of the Zhytomyr region. “Your bread” is included in the orbit of PrJSC “Ovrutsky Hlibozavod” and PrJSC “Korostensky Hlibozavod”.
