The Cabinet of Ministers extended the financing of the program for the installation of alternative energy sources
The Ukrainian government continues to finance the program to support citizens and businesses in the implementation of alternative energy sources within the framework of the “Winter Support” initiative. About this stated Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
According to him, thanks to this program, enterprises, associations of co-owners of multi-apartment buildings (OSBB) and private households can receive grants and soft loans for the installation of solar power plants, energy storage and other modern equipment to ensure autonomy and energy independence.
Shmyhal emphasized that hundreds of entrepreneurs and owners of private houses have already taken advantage of the preferential lending programs, and the number of applications continues to grow. He also noted the success of the grant program for condominiums called “GreenDim”, within which 121 projects are already being implemented, and this figure is steadily increasing.
The prime minister also reminded that the Ukrenergo company is resuming the substation automation program, which was actively implemented before the start of the full-scale war. This is part of a general strategy to modernize the energy infrastructure, aimed at increasing its resistance to possible attacks.
