The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine together with the Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (KSL) implemented automated accounting of electronic warfare (EW) means using the SAP system. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.
Digitization has accelerated logistics and data sharing between the Defense Acquisition Agency, the Central Command of Special Forces Support and storage bases. “The functionality of the electronic order provides that the number of necessary papers will be reduced by four times, the speed of exchanging the necessary electronic documents will become instantaneous.”
From now on, the status of each document can be tracked online. For accountants and logisticians, the need for telephone clarifications regarding the balances and movement of electronic devices disappears, which increases the efficiency and accuracy of accounting. The next step is to scale automation to military units.
“The introduction of digital accounting tools, in particular the electronic order, makes the receipt of electronic warfare equipment from procurement organizations transparent, and also speeds up the issue of property to military units from storage bases.” – emphasized in the ministry.
We will remind that on April 10, the Ministry of Defense together with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will introduce the online platform “Military Assistant”, which aims to simplify the submission of reports, statements and other official documents for servicemen.
