The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Oleksandr Pertsovsky as the new chairman of the board of Ukrzaliznytsia
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the appointment of Oleksandr Pertsovsky to the position of chairman of the board of “Ukrzaliznytsia” for a period of three years, at the request of the company’s supervisory board. About this reported press service of “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
Until the end of his contract with the company, the previous chairman of the board Yevhen Lyashchenko, who held this position since March 2023, will continue to work as a member of the board.
At the same time, Volodymyr Krot, Orest Logunov and Anton Mishin were dismissed from the board.
Oleksandr Pertsovskyi has been working at Ukrzaliznytsia since 2020, until that time he held the position of a board member responsible for passenger transportation.
Earlier, on October 7, Yevhen Lyashchenko submitted an application for early termination of the powers of the chairman of the board to the company’s supervisory board.
In addition, “Ukrzaliznytsia” announced additional trains for the period of school holidays on popular routes such as Kyiv-Odesa-Kyiv and Lviv-Kyiv-Lviv. On October 14, additional flights of the Kyiv – Kamianets-Podilskyi – Kyiv train were scheduled, and later two additional trains for children’s groups and other passengers on popular routes.
