The Ministry of Health has created teams to assess the functional status of persons who will replace the work of the MSEK.
At the Ministry of Health reported, that the list of medical institutions where these new expert teams will operate has already been approved. Currently, they will work on the basis of 286 hospitals throughout Ukraine, which will ensure maximum accessibility for patients and compliance with modern standards of medical services.
In total, 1,348 expert teams were formed, which included more than 4,300 doctors. This is three times more than in the previous MSEK system. Expert teams specialize in the following areas: surgery, traumatology, cardioneurology and psychiatry.
In addition, a list of doctors who will work in the Center for assessing the functional state of a person has been determined. They will provide professional support and review decisions in cases of patient appeals.
We will remind that earlier the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, by his decree, liquidated MSEK as part of the reform of the disability assessment system.
