The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has set up 750 invincibility points: Klymenko

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has already equipped 750 points of invincibility and is ready to deploy another 450 such points if necessary. This was announced by Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko during a meeting with colleagues from the G7 countries. informs press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Klymenko emphasized that Ukraine’s energy infrastructure remains the main target for attacks by Russia, especially in the winter, which forces the Ministry of Internal Affairs to constantly improve its response plans to possible threats. In this context, the minister noted that the ministry has already set up 750 points of invincibility, and in case of deterioration of the situation, it is ready to add another 450 such points to support the population.
The Minister also informed that in the regions of the country, constant training is being held to prepare for possible situations related to the lack of electricity. Emergency responders and police have well-developed plans and resources to ensure safety and respond to crisis situations. In addition, mobile fire groups are used to protect critical infrastructure facilities.
Among other topics discussed during the meeting was the issue of partnership and the implementation of security projects against the background of Russian aggression. Special attention was paid to the control of weapons circulation, where Ukrainian units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs play an important role in preventing the illegal use of weapons and ammunition. The Minister also emphasized the importance of cooperation with the EU and Europol in combating arms smuggling from Ukraine to other countries.
Klymenko emphasized that the protection of state borders is one of the key priorities. Ukraine needs modern solutions to strengthen its borders, including intelligent video surveillance systems at border posts that will help monitor the situation and prevent crimes.
In addition, the minister noted that Ukrainian units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have unique experience in such matters as demining, documenting war crimes, countering cybercrime, working at sites of shelling and evacuating civilians. Ukraine is ready to share this experience with other countries.
