The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has created temporary email addresses in connection with a large-scale cyberattack by the Russian Federation

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, responding to a large-scale cyberattack by Russian hackers on the network infrastructure of the National Information Systems, introduced temporary electronic addresses for receiving documents and citizens’ appeals. About this department reported on his official Facebook page.
Citizens can now send their statements, suggestions, complaints or other appeals to two temporary email boxes: themisminjust@gmail.com and callcentreminjust@gmail.com. With the help of these addresses, you can also receive answers in electronic format.
The Ministry emphasized that all letters sent to the specified e-mail addresses must be registered in the electronic document management system of the SED Askod. This will ensure transparency and orderly processing of appeals.
As previously reported, on December 19, Russia carried out one of the largest cyberattacks on the state registers of Ukraine. Its goal was to disrupt the operation of the country’s critically important infrastructure. As a result of the attack, several key registries, including the Unified and State registries administered by the Ministry of Justice, were temporarily suspended.
Such measures by the Ministry of Justice are aimed at ensuring uninterrupted communication with citizens in conditions of temporary restriction of access to state databases.
