The police detained top officials of Kyivzelenbud, who planned to receive 25 million hryvnias of “kickbacks”

The national police detained high-ranking officials of “Kyivzelenbuda”, who, according to the investigation, planned to receive 25 million hryvnias in “kickbacks”. About this informs press service of the National Police.

“Kyivzelenbud top officials who planned to receive at least UAH 25 million in “kickbacks” were detained. This is 15% of the sum of funds transferred to contractors for the work performed during 2024.”, the message says.

According to the documents, only in February 2025, the management of the association received more than 3 million hryvnias. Among those detained are the general director, his first deputy and the deputy head of the capital investment department of “Kyivzelenbudu”. Representatives of commercial structures are also suspects. The maximum penalty that can threaten officials is up to 13 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

It will be recalled that last month the police served suspicion on a number of KMDA officials. They are suspected of organizing a scheme to embezzle budget money for the repair of the lyceum and school shelters.
