Russian drones damaged the Dnipro Academic Opera and Ballet Theater

On April 17, as a result of a massive strike by Russian drones, the building of the Dnipro Academic Opera and Ballet Theater was damaged. About this reported director and artistic director of the theater Rostislav Karandeev.
“As a result of a massive night attack by Russian attack UAVs in the center of the Dnipro, the facade structures and glazing of the windows of the audience lobby and the administrative and economic part of the building of the Dnipro Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet were damaged.” Karandeev noted.
According to him, immediately after the end of the air raid, the workers of the theater started urgent work to eliminate the consequences of shelling. By the end of the current day, it is planned to completely clean up the broken glass both inside and around the building, as well as, if necessary, to install temporary window structures, which will allow rehearsals to continue safely and the evening performance to be held for the audience.
“The shelling of a peaceful city is another proof that the aggressor is not limited to attacks on military objects, his real goal is the Ukrainian people, our national identity. We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for holding the front! We will continue to hold our cultural rear, strengthening the resilience of citizens, their Ukrainian patriotic spirit and will to Victory!” Karandeev emphasized.
