The Prime Minister announced the dates of tenders for the reconstruction of “Okhmatdyt”

At the children’s hospital “Okhmatdyt” in Kyiv, which suffered significant damage from the Russian missile strike, an examination of the damage is currently being conducted. This process will be completed within a month, after which decisions will be made on holding tenders for restoration.

About this reported Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the “Ukraine 2024. Independence” forum.

“To date, a supervisory board has been formed, which consists of 15 people: seven representatives of international donors and eight representatives of civil society, including patient organizations and other public structures. The examination of the damage, which is currently being carried out, is critical for assessing the damage, especially given the complexity of the damaged equipment. We expect the examination to be completed within a month, after which decisions will be made regarding tenders and further actions.”Shmyhal noted.

It will be recalled that earlier the tender for the restoration of the hospital building was canceled due to disputes over its transparency. Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko promised that the new tender will be conducted through the Prozzoro system.

Also, on August 16, it became known that the “Okhmatdyt – Healthy Childhood” Charitable Fund, whose accounts had collected almost 380 million hryvnias, refused to transfer these funds to the hospital.

Subsequently, the general director of “Okhmatdyt” Volodymyr Zhovnir was temporarily suspended from performing his duties until the inspections were completed, and the Ministry of Health appointed an acting officer for this period.
