The Russian army attacked a residential area in Kostyantynivka: one person was killed, there are wounded
Russian troops carried out an airstrike on a residential sector in the city of Kostyantynivka, as a result of which one person was killed and three others were injured. About this reported the press service of the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office.
The incident happened on May 23 at 10:40 p.m. During the attack, a FAB-250 aerial bomb equipped with an UMPK module was dropped.
“As a result of the airstrike, a 47-year-old woman received non-life-threatening injuries. Her 53-year-old husband received a mine-explosive injury, lacerations to his thigh and forearm. At the time of the shelling, the couple was in their home.” – says the message.
Two women aged 65 and 88 from a neighboring house were also hospitalized. Both had mine-explosive injuries, lacerations and concussion symptoms. As a result of the shelling, six private residential buildings, one car, as well as elements of the infrastructure — in particular, electricity and gas supply lines — were damaged.
Criminal proceedings have been opened for the commission of a war crime under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation is being conducted by the Kostyantyniv District Prosecutor’s Office.
We will remind you that in April of this year, Russia already carried out airstrikes on Kostyantynivka — ten cases were recorded during which critical infrastructure objects were damaged, in particular the DTEK power grid. Then one person was injured as a result of the attacks.
