The Russian army attacked a training unit of the Ground Forces in the Poltava region, there are wounded

On June 4, Russian troops launched a missile attack on one of the training units of the Ground Forces, located in the territory of the Poltava region. At the time of the attack, the personnel was at the training ground, where they were performing training tasks. There are wounded as a result of the shelling, informs the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Thanks to timely and carefully thought-out security measures designed to protect the life and health of servicemen under the constant threat of missile and air attacks by the aggressor on rear areas, the worst was avoided.

A complex of preventive actions, including the dispersion of personnel, the use of shelters and the observance of security protocols during an air alert, allowed to save the lives of servicemen who were on the training ground at the time of the attack, performing training tasks.” – says the message.

Unfortunately, as a result of the event, there are victims. All wounded promptly receive the necessary qualified medical assistance in specialized medical institutions. Doctors are making every effort to restore the health of the victims as soon as possible. A special commission was created to comprehensively investigate the causes of the incident and determine the extent of the damage. After the completion of its work, the results of the investigation will be made public.
