Perceived discrediting of the Armed Forces: People’s Deputy Maryana Bezugla was sent to the Mirotvorets base

People’s deputy and deputy head of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on national security, defense and intelligence Maryana Bezugla was included in the “Peacemaker” database. About this reported on the official website of “Peacemaker”.
According to the information published on the website, the deputy is accused of deliberately discrediting the state authorities and administration of Ukraine. In particular, Bezugla is accused of the following actions:
- Deliberate public actions aimed at discrediting the state authorities and management of Ukraine.
- Actions aimed at discrediting and demoralizing the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
- Obstruction of the legal activity of the Armed Forces.
- Actions aimed at splitting civil society in Ukraine.
- Deliberate dissemination of information containing state secrets, which Russia uses to achieve strategic goals during the planning and conduct of hostilities against Ukraine and to conduct special information and psychological operations.
On the “Peacemaker” website, it is stated that Maryana Bezuglai’s activities against the leadership of the Armed Forces in the period from 2022 to 2024 have clear signs of a planned information campaign that acted in the interests of the Russian aggressor and an unidentified group of persons.
It is important to note that recently the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on National Security, Defense and Intelligence passed a decision to recall Maryana Bezuglai from the position of head of the subcommittee on democratic civil control. This decision was made in response to numerous accusations and growing criticism of the deputy.
