The Russian army attacked the Kherson region: five women were injured

On May 21, Russian troops carried out a drone attack on the Kherson region, as a result of which five women were injured. All of them are hospitalized. About this informs Kherson Regional Military Administration.
On the morning of May 21, the Russian army struck the village of Bilozerka with drones. As a result of the attack, five women aged 47 to 67 were injured.
Around 08:00, one of the drones struck a residential area. Initially, it was reported about a 62-year-old victim who was hospitalized with an explosive injury. Later, the Kherson OVA clarified that the woman also received a contusion, injuries to the chest and lower limbs.
A 67-year-old woman was found to have an explosive contusion and a closed craniocerebral injury. The 61-year-old victim suffered chest, shoulder and leg injuries. Another victim, a 54-year-old woman, went to the doctors with a blast injury and contusion and received outpatient care.
The youngest of the injured, a 47-year-old resident, was diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to her arms and legs, an explosive injury, and a closed craniocerebral injury. All the wounded are currently in medical facilities, where they are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
Under the procedural leadership of the Oleshkiv District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into the facts of war crimes, provided for in Part 1 Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
