Russian troops advanced in the north of the Sumy region, as well as in the Pokrovsk region and in the direction of Liman. About this informs Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
In the Kursk direction, Russian forces continued attacks in certain areas, while the Russian mass media announced the resumption of Ukrainian strikes in the direction of Glushkovo and Tyotkino. In the Sumy region, geolocation images recorded the advance of Russian forces in the Vorachiny region. At the same time, Russian sources claim that the settlement has been captured, but there is no confirmation of this.
In the Kharkiv region on July 22, Russian troops attacked in the north, in particular near Vovchansk, but to no avail. In the Kupyansk direction, the continuation of assaults by the Russian Federation was also observed, but no progress was recorded.
In the direction of Liman, according to analytical data, Russian troops advanced and captured Lypove, after which they advanced to the southwest of it. In the Donetsk region, in the Siverskyi direction, the attacks in the Serebryanka, Hryhorivka, and Verkhnokamyansky districts did not bring the occupiers any results. In the area of Chasovoy Yar, soldiers of the 1st motorized rifle battalion of the 77th regiment probably raised the Russian flag in the southwest of Bela Hora, located south of the city.
In the Toretsk direction, the advance of both sides is recorded: the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced to the northwest of Dilyivka, and the Russian troops advanced in the area of Popovoy Yar. In the Pokrovska region, geolocation materials also testify to the activity of both sides. Russian forces carried out strikes on Ukrainian positions in the Razyny region, which, according to analysts, may indicate the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over this settlement. Russian units also launched an offensive near Pokrovsk itself.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, the advance of Russian forces in the northeast of Malaya Tokmachka was recorded. In the Kherson direction, attacks by the Russians continued, but without noticeable success.
