More than 7 thousand people still remain in Pokrovsk. civilians

About 7,300 people currently live in front-line Pokrovsk, the evacuation of the civilian population continues, although it has slowed down. About this informs head of the Pokrovsk city military administration, Serhiy Dobryak.
“There are currently 7,300 people living in the city. And for these people, there are still shops here and there, several pharmacies are open. Specialists of our territorial center are working, their number is small, and they are persuading the elderly to evacuate after all.” – said the official.
After the gas was cut off on December 12, and later the electricity supply, almost three thousand people left the city in a week. Currently, the rate of evacuation has decreased significantly: only 5-10 residents leave per day.
Dobryak stressed the need for evacuation, as the security situation in Pokrovsk is constantly deteriorating due to shelling by the enemy, who uses aerial bombs, artillery and drones. Utility services are trying to eliminate the consequences of strikes, but only in those places where the situation allows.
