The Russian army has begun offensive operations in the Kursk region, the situation is escalating: DeepState

The Russian military began active assault operations in the Kursk region, which led to a significant deterioration of the situation for the Ukrainian troops on the left flank. This was reported by analysts of the DeepState group in their report on the night of September 11.

According to experts, the Russian Armed Forces have transported armored vehicles across the Seym River and other small rivers in the region, which has become a key element of their offensive.

“Another blow took place from Korenovo, which was lost recently, to Snagost”, analysts noted.

Experts also noted that in Western analytical circles, the opinion about the probable entry of Russian troops into the “cauldron” in the Glushkiv district is actively spreading. At the same time, some experts consider the Seim River to be a kind of natural obstacle that helps Ukrainian units in the confrontation with the Russians.

Subsequently, DeepState also recorded the movement of an armored column from Korenovo towards Snagosti, where active hostilities took place.

It was previously reported that the operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk and Kharkiv regions have common elements of tactics. The 3rd separate assault brigade confirmed that Russian troops are having problems with the supply of certain resources. The representative of the brigade Oleksandr Borodin suggested that the military-industrial complex of Russia does not always cope with the tasks, which forces the occupiers to save resources.

In addition, it is worth recalling that the former Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Serhiy Shoigu, ruled out the possibility of peace negotiations with Ukraine until the Armed Forces are pushed out of the Kursk region. According to him, the Ukrainian troops allegedly planned to seize the Kursk nuclear power plant for the purpose of “nuclear terror.”
