The Russian army shelled Sloviansk, there are casualties and destruction

On the evening of March 18, three civilians were injured as a result of enemy shelling in Sloviansk. Two of them received mine-explosive injuries, another woman – an acute reaction to stress. About this informs Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office.

“On March 18, 2025, at 8:50 p.m., Russian troops struck Slovyansk. As a result of shelling in one of the city’s districts, two civilians, aged 58 and 59, were injured. They suffered mine-explosive injuries and mortal wounds. The victims were taken to the hospital. In addition, a 71-year-old woman was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.”, the message says.

According to the prosecutor’s office, 21 private houses and vehicles were damaged. The type of weapon used by the Russians is currently being established.

Under the procedural leadership of the Slavyansk District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into the commission of a war crime has been launched in accordance with the first part of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Prosecutors are taking all necessary actions to thoroughly document this cynical shelling of the civilian population by the occupiers.
