The Russian army struck Kharkiv with drones: there are casualties and destruction

On the night of July 30, the Russian army launched another attack on Kharkiv, using attack drones. Explosions rang out in the Shevchenkivsky and Slobidsky districts of the city. Currently, three victims are known, informs Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

“In the Shevchenkivsky district – previously – three victims: two women and a man. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a car wash, glazing of apartment buildings, a supermarket were also damaged. One car is on fire.” – says the message.

In the State Emergency Service clarified, that three cars, a car wash and an annex to a building with a total area of 210 square meters caught fire in the Shevchenkiv district. As a result, residential buildings, commercial facilities and vehicles were damaged. Three people were injured, rescuers managed to save two of them. In the Slobid district, dry grass burned on an area of 500 square meters. 37 rescuers and 7 units of equipment were involved in liquidation of the consequences.

It will be recalled that on July 29, Russian armed forces shelled the village of Novoplatonivka, which is part of Borivska rural territorial community of Izyum district of Kharkiv region.

One of the projectiles hit near a store where humanitarian aid – water – was being distributed to people at that time. As a result of the impact, a fire broke out, the fire engulfed a commercial establishment and a car parked nearby. Five people died – two women and three men. Four more people were injured. According to preliminary data, the Russian army struck the settlement with a rocket salvo system.
