The company “Ukrnafta” actively conducts operations to increase oil and gas production with the help of involved third-party contractors. This made it possible to increase the flow rate of treated wells by 4.2 times, achieving additional production of almost 13 thousand tons of oil and more than 6 million cubic meters of gas. About this informs the press service of the company.
“One of the most effective methods of intensification is hydraulic fracturing (fracking). After its application, the permeability of formations increases, and the productivity of wells increases”, – stated in the message.
Subcontractors perform a significant part of such works. Out of 35 planned fracturing operations, 33 have already been carried out in the east and west of Ukraine. As a result, more than 20 wells were put into operation.
“For more than 90% of the objects, the project indicators of additional production have been achieved, and the success rate is 92%. In general, the total flow has increased by 4.2 times, from 71.8 to 303.7 tons per day”, – said the director of the company, Serhiy Koretskyi.
In addition, 30 additional hydraulic fracturing operations are planned for the first half of 2025, which should ensure further production growth.
