The Russian army tried to break through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Lyman direction: General Staff
During June 25, 2025, the Defense Forces of Ukraine recorded 154 combat clashes with the Russian occupiers. The largest number of assaults was recorded in the Pokrovsky direction, while in Lymansky Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses, informs General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy carried out 79 airstrikes, using 117 guided air bombs, carried out 5,902 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, and engaged 3,278 kamikaze drones.
In particular, Vodyane, Graniv, Okhrimivka, Hryhorivka in Kharkiv Oblast were hit by airstrikes; Poltavka, Shakhove, Illinivka, Volodymyrivka, Popiv Yar, Novotoretske, Sukhyi Yar, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Oleksandrograd, Andriivka-Klevtsevo in Donetsk region; Malynivka, Olhivske, Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region; Olhivka and Tavriyske in the Kherson region.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions near Vovchansk, Vovchansk Khutori and Lyptsi eight times. Four attacks took place in the Kupyansk region, which Ukrainian defenders stopped near Golubivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Nova Kruglyakivka, and Zeleny Gay. In the Lymansky direction, the enemy launched 17 attacks, trying to break through the defenses in the areas of Grekivka, Kopanok, Nadiya, Ridkodub, Kolodyazyu, Zelena Dolyna, and Torsky.
Four offensive operations were repulsed in the Siverskyi direction — near Verkhnokamyanskyi and Hryhorivka. Eight skirmishes were recorded in the Kramatorsk direction — the occupiers tried to advance towards Stupochky and Bila Hora.
The aggressor carried out 16 attacks in the Toretsk area and near Nelipivka, Oleksandr-Kalynovy, and Yablunivka. In the Pokrovsky direction, the defense forces repelled 51 assaults in the districts of Poltavka, Myrny, Koptevo, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Zvirovo, Udachnoy, Novosergiivka, Novomykolaivka, Horikhovo, and Oleksiivka.
In the Novopavlovsk direction, 20 attacks were recorded in the districts of Zaporozhye, Vilniy Pol, Peresbudy and Shevchenko. There was one offensive attempt near Malynyvka in the Gulyaipil direction. In the Orihiv direction, the occupiers sought to advance in the direction of Novoandriivka. Two unsuccessful enemy attacks were recorded in the Dnieper direction. No signs of the formation of strike groups were found in the Volyn and Poliske directions.
