The Russian army used a drone to strike a car belonging to energy workers in the suburbs of Sumy: one person was killed

On May 12, the Russian army carried out a drone strike on the outskirts of Sumy, as a result of which an official car belonging to energy workers was damaged. According to preliminary data, 1 person died and there are also wounded. About this informs Sumy City Council.
“According to preliminary information, in the suburbs of Sumy, an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle hit a company car of an energy company,” – says the message.
As a result of the attack, one person was killed and three others were injured. Emergency services are on site.
We will remind that on May 6, Russian troops also attacked the outskirts of Sumy at around 17:30, using a ballistic missile. Initially, local authorities reported the death of a child, but later clarified that the victim was a young girl. In addition, seven people – an adult woman and six children – were injured.
Recently, Russian shelling of the Sumy region has intensified significantly. Bilopol and Vorozhbyan communities suffer the most. In response to the threat, assistance was organized in the region for those willing to evacuate from dangerous areas. There is a special hub in Sumy, where evacuated residents can receive temporary housing, primary medical care, humanitarian support, obtain the status of an internally displaced person and submit documents for payments.
