The Russian Federation again attacked Kharkiv with drones: there are dead and wounded, including servicemen who were being treated in a hospital

On the evening of March 29, 2025, Russian troops again attacked Kharkiv with kamikaze drones. A series of explosions rang out in the city, as a result of which civilian objects were destroyed and people were injured.
As of 10:00 p.m., the number of injured reached 15, official sources said.
Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov informed about 14 victims, ten of whom were hospitalized, including two children. Everyone is provided with necessary medical care.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported, that there is a person under the rubble of one of the objects hit by the drone. Rescuers are working on the spot, a search and rescue operation is underway.
At least six addresses in the Shevchenkiv and Kholodnohirsky districts are known to have been hit. As a result of the attack, a shopping center, high-rise residential buildings, a medical facility and an office building were damaged.
According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, “the number of injured will increase, because self-referrals to hospitals and calls to the 103 line are still continuing.”
Ihor Terekhov reported that as of 10:37 p.m. the number of victims had increased to 19.
At 11:20 p.m., he reported that two people had already died. Rescuers recovered the body of a dead person from under the rubble.
In addition, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported, that as a result of the Shahed drone strike, the building of the military hospital was damaged, as well as residential buildings located nearby. According to preliminary information, military personnel who were being treated in a medical institution were injured.
“The fact of deliberate, targeted shelling of a Ukrainian medical institution by the Russian army added to the long list of vile and cynical crimes committed by the Russians since the beginning of the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.
War crimes have no statute of limitations. Relevant evidence will be handed over to international criminal justice authorities.” – said the General Staff.
