Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiga said that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy set the task of ending the war and ensuring a just peace in 2025. Statement sounded during the forum “Ukraine. Year 2025”.
“Today, all Ukrainian diplomacy lives with the fundamental goal of achieving a comprehensive and just peace for Ukraine. We are convinced that this year we really have a chance to achieve peace. In this difficult, turbulent period, we can achieve peace for Ukraine. We are now telling many partners that today is the time when we really need to fasten our diplomatic seat belts. We must not give in to emotions.” – noted Sybiga.
According to him, Ukrainian diplomacy will continue to work hard on strengthening subjectivity.
“I can say that our entire diplomatic service is mobilized as much as possible to achieve peace in Ukraine and end this war this year. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is setting this very task today. During all these 3 years of Russian aggression, the diplomatic service has been an integral part of strengthening Ukraine’s stability and defense capabilities. We will continue to work on strengthening the subjectivity of our state.” – he emphasized.
