Russian troops received a task from their command to get as close as possible to the administrative borders of Kharkiv. Such a strategy would allow the enemy to partially take the city under fire control with the help of barrel artillery. The commander of the battalion of attack drones “Achilles” Yury Fedorenko told about this during the telethon.
According to him, Russian troops are continuously training, and their main tasks remain unchanged. The enemy is trying to seize more territories in the Kharkiv region in order to get closer to the administrative borders of the city. This would give them the opportunity to carry out artillery shelling of certain residential areas, which would lead to even more intense terror.
“This is important for the enemy. Terror is his main weapon, and the approach to the administrative borders of the city of Kharkiv will give an opportunity to increase this terror. If we talk about Vovchansk, it is fundamentally important for the enemy to move on with residential development and fully occupy the city.”, – said Yuriy Fedorenko.
If the Russian occupiers are able to implement their plans, they will create a springboard for a further attack on the positions of the Ukrainian troops holding defenses near Kupyansk.
However, according to the battalion commander, Russian troops will not be able to make significant progress in the near future.
