The Ministry of Education and Science has launched a training platform for veterans

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine presented a new educational platform that will provide an opportunity for veterans to undergo training for retraining and adaptation to civilian life. About this reported Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi.

The platform, created with the support of the Skills4Recovery program in collaboration with GIZ and SFPL, provides access to more than 1,200 educational opportunities. It includes short-term courses, retraining programs, as well as full-fledged training programs in professional, pre-university and higher education institutions. The resource offers a convenient catalog of formal and informal education with information about admission conditions, forms of education, financing of programs and availability of educational institutions.

“We presented one of the tools that will allow our defenders returning to civilian life to find available opportunities to update their knowledge in those areas that were of interest to them before the service, or to acquire new ones through retraining.” – noted Oksen Lisovyi.

The minister emphasized that the veteran policy in the field of education is aimed not only at providing benefits and budgetary places, but primarily at creating new opportunities that meet the educational interests and needs of veterans.
