The state provided a tranche of 1 billion hryvnia to support Ukrainian farmers

As part of the implementation of the Emergency Project of Providing Inclusive Support for the Restoration of the Agricultural Sector of Ukraine (ARISE), the state provided the third tranche in the amount of 1 billion hryvnias to support Ukrainian farmers. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
Currently, as part of state aid, a budget subsidy is paid for each hectare of cultivated agricultural land for those engaged in agricultural activities, as well as special subsidies for keeping cattle, sheep and goats.
“The Ministry of Agrarian Policy continues to actively work on the sustainable development of the countryside and support of small producers, including farmers – they are the basis of food security and the economy of Ukraine. Such support is one of the key priorities of the state agrarian policy.” – noted Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitaly Koval.
Payments to applicants are made by the Ukrderzhfond, and they are planned to be completed by the end of July. The Minister reminded that farmers who are registered in the State Agrarian Register, have submitted applications in accordance with the requirements of the law, did not receive similar assistance last year and are included in the approved lists of recipients have the right to receive it.
The ARISE emergency project is being implemented with state budget funds in accordance with the procedure approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
