Already from January 15, veterans and persons with disabilities related to the war with the Russian Federation will have the opportunity to receive quarterly cash assistance in the amount of UAH 1,500 to pay for the services of sports clubs. This amounts to approximately UAH 500 per person per month.

It will be possible to apply for this assistance through the “Action” application. Funds will be deposited into the veteran’s special account automatically every quarter throughout the year.

In the context of a full-scale war with the Russian Federation, support for veterans remains one of the key areas of state policy. At the same time, public organizations and volunteers play an important role in helping veterans. They help with employment, organize legal support, educational programs and promote the implementation of business projects of veterans.

We will remind that in December, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a decision that simplifies the access of veterans to receiving grants for starting their own business. In particular, the government approved a resolution that allows defenders to choose the duration of the business project: three, five or seven years.
