In recent days, a mass mailing of e-mails, which are passed off as official messages from territorial units of the State Tax Service of Ukraine (SST), has been recorded. In these letters, citizens are urged to urgently contact a representative of the DPS. About this informs State tax service.
According to the DPS, the text of such messages looks as follows:
“Good afternoon. [Surname, first name, patronymic of the representative of the management staff of the territorial body of the State Tax Service of Ukraine] is concerned. Tell [Name, patronymic of the head of the taxpayer] to contact me urgently. Tel. +380932652751” .
The Tax Service emphasizes that during official correspondence it never indicates personal telephone numbers for communication. Fraudsters use fake email addresses to make their messages look like official ones, which confuses people.
We will remind you that earlier the law enforcement officers exposed a criminal group that, through fake accounts in social networks, appropriated more than 2.5 million hryvnias collected for the Armed Forces. Criminals used military data for illegal fundraising.
