The State Tax Service has created a convenient online resource – the Territory of High Level of Tax Confidence – to facilitate access to information for taxpayers. This was announced by Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada’s Tax Committee, noting that the law on supporting honest taxpayers is finally coming into force.
According to Mr Hetmantsev, the first list of taxpayers with a high level of tax responsibility will be formed at the end of November based on the fourth quarter of 2023 and three quarters of 2024. In early December, everyone will be able to check whether they are on this list.
On the ‘Territory of High Level of Tax Confidence’ platform, taxpayers can read the conditions for joining the list of good taxpayers and learn about the benefits of this status. The website will also contain average indicators by region, industry and period.
In early December, taxpayers will be able to check their indicators in the Electronic Cabinet to find out whether they are on the list.
The publication of this list and the average indicators will allow taxpayers to compare their financial results with the average for Ukraine.
Benefits for good faith taxpayers
The companies on the list will benefit from tax administration advantages, including a moratorium on certain types of documentary audits. The timeframes for in-house audits, VAT refunds and tax consultations will also be reduced.
A compliance manager will also be appointed for such taxpayers to ensure better interaction with the tax authorities.
