Ukraine continues to introduce the latest technologies in the production of drones and presented a prototype of the first FPV drone, created exclusively from Ukrainian components. About this informs Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
“A Ukrainian drone company has announced that it has recently assembled a prototype of the first FPV drone made exclusively from components produced in Ukraine”, the message says.
Only Ukrainian components were involved in the assembly: frame, engines, propellers, camera, signal transmitter and receiver, flight controller and speed regulator. The last two elements were developed and manufactured directly in Ukraine.
Ukraine also completed testing of a drone connected to a fiber-optic cable that is resistant to radio-electronic warfare interference. ISW notes that Russian forces have previously used similar technologies in the Kursk region and in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
